Description
This is something you rarely see — a ‘proper’ red Burgundy — in other words Pinot Noir not a Gamay ‘Coteaux Bourguignons’ that is affordable and authentic. It is from the northern end, not far from Chablis, and is light fruity and very drinkable and from the good 2018 vintage. Best served slightly chilled and ideal with falafel — or more traditionally think of it as like a Beaujolais or Saumur-Champigny served in a Bistro in Paris or Lyons, where is might come with charcuterie or andouillete.
