Bourgogne Rouge, Épineuil, 2018, Domaine Céline Côté, Molosmes

Description

Red burgundy from the village of Épineuil, 10 miles east of Chablis and three miles from the home of the wine grower Céline Côté. It has strong family likeness to Céline’s Cuvée Julia, especially the smokiness, but is darker and more concentrated with some black fruit flavours to add to the Julia’s mainly red fruit. This wine looks expensive but really isn’t at all. A great price for a real burgundy that will keep and improve for ten years.
