Description
Ford Farms Coastal Cheddar is recognisable by having a crunch, which comes from calcium crystals that form during its 15 month long maturation. It’s made on Dorest’s ‘Jurassic coast’ — famous for the fossils found everywhere in the local limestone — and is brilliant value for money. This is because although it looks and tastes like a craft-scale traditional cheese the recipe dates from 2000 and it is made on a scale that has conquered the American market — it’s the biggest selling branded Cheddar there.
